Bridges
Bridges may be used for vehicular or pedestrian traffic. They can either be constructed conventionally, using similar techniques to deck construction, or alternatively with girders, beams or truss designs, or laminated together as in stress laminated bridges.

Bridges can be designed for a variety of load applications. Design practices are similar to those used for commercial decks. For loads or spans greater than those included in the Non-Domestic Deck criterion, engineering design is required.
