Screens
Landscape - OSA screen
Timber is used extensively for screening due to its versatility and economy. Hardwood timbers provide designers and builders opportunity for variations that cannot be provided by other materials.

Screens are usually used for privacy, sun or wind shields, sound barriers or as decorations to an outdoor setting. Screens can be completely enclosed or perforated (eg. lattice or battens) to partially protect or provide cover. Combinations of steel and timber are also commonly seen in both commercial and residential applications giving great versatility in design options.

The design, durability and construction practices are similar to those for fencing.
